Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services an ATSG Company, acquired PEMCO in January of 2017 setting the stage for a stronger market opportunity for both companies providing greater value to customers, shareholders, and employees. A path was set in a positive direction creating additional growth opportunities at both companies. The two companies are a strategic fit to build capacity for their current diverse customer base, opening additional market opportunities. PEMCO entered the freighter conversion market in 2000 launching what would become the industry leader in narrowbody passenger to freighter conversions. They built a dedicated workforce that continued to grow a strong market presence. The skill and commitment of the Pemco team provided customers with value by not only being cost-conscious but also by putting safety and quality first on every aircraft that has passed through the hangar. Every crewmember takes pride in meeting commitments to our customers – and at AIRBORNE/PEMCO that means safety and reliability first… but it also means keeping aircraft on schedule. When a customer makes the decision to deliver their aircraft to Tampa for Maintenance or Conversion, they get a partnership that is solidified with an MRO history spanning over 40 years that started as a 121 airline maintenance provider. When it’s results that matter, AIRBORNE/PEMCO provides an unbeatable combination of quality, reliability, and value.
