Welcome to Just Pilot Jobs. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Platform Role

Just Pilot Jobs is an online venue that allows third-party employers and job seekers to post and discover opportunities. We do not employ users, participate in hiring decisions, interview, screen, vet, endorse, or guarantee any user, listing, credential, or outcome. We are not an employment or recruiting agency and are not a consumer reporting agency. All hiring decisions, verifications, and compliance obligations rest solely with the employer and the candidate.

User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their accounts. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach so we can help secure the account.

User Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age and located within the United States. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. Users outside the United States or under the age of 18 may not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or disrupt the Service. The following activities are prohibited and may result in suspension or termination: scraping or harvesting data; sending spam or unsolicited communications; misrepresenting qualifications or affiliations; posting fraudulent, unsafe, or illegal job opportunities; interfering with the Service’s operations or security; and reselling or sublicensing access to the Service.

User Content and License

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content they submit, including job listings, profiles, and other materials. By submitting content, you grant Just Pilot Jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.

We reserve the right to remove or refuse content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. If you believe that content infringes your intellectual property rights, please follow the notice procedures described in our DMCA Policy section below.

Nondiscrimination and Prohibited Listings

Employers must ensure that job postings and hiring practices comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination based on protected characteristics. Listings that discourage, exclude, or express a preference based on protected traits are prohibited and may be removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that engage in discriminatory conduct or fail to comply with applicable equal employment opportunity requirements.

Service Usage

Just Pilot Jobs facilitates connections between aviation employers and pilots but does not participate in or guarantee any transaction or hiring outcome. Employers and candidates are solely responsible for evaluating one another, complying with legal obligations, and negotiating the terms of any engagement.

Background Screening and FCRA Compliance

If an employer orders or uses background screening or similar checks, the employer is solely responsible for compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and any other applicable laws, including obtaining necessary disclosures, authorizations, and adverse-action notices. Just Pilot Jobs does not furnish consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency.

Payments, Auto-Renewal, and Refunds

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. We may update pricing upon reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after price changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Payments are processed by third-party providers, and you authorize us and our providers to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees. Refunds are evaluated in good faith when core Service features are unavailable due to technical issues that we control. Requests must be submitted within seven days of the charge date, and we may require documentation of the issue before issuing a refund.

Communications

By providing contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications and, where permitted, promotional messages via email, phone, or SMS. Emails include unsubscribe instructions, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time without affecting service-related notices. For SMS alerts, you agree to receive texts at the number provided; consent is not a condition of purchase, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages and HELP for assistance.

Warranty Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnity

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Pilot Jobs and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Just Pilot Jobs for access to the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Just Pilot Jobs, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, remove content, or take other appropriate action if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or created risk or possible legal exposure for us or other users. You may terminate your account at any time; however, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Privacy and Data Use

We collect, use, and share personal information as described in our Privacy Policy . By using the Service, you consent to our privacy practices. Employers and other users must handle any personal data obtained through the Service in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws and use it only for lawful hiring-related purposes.

Accessibility

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to all users and strive to align our efforts with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA. If you encounter accessibility barriers or require an accommodation, please contact us so we can address your concern promptly.

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party platforms, including payment processors and communication services. Your use of those third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of the relevant provider, and Just Pilot Jobs is not responsible for their acts, omissions, outages, or security practices.

DMCA Policy

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Reports may be submitted to our designated agent as listed on our website and with the U.S. Copyright Office directory. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section below, any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisville, Kentucky, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Dispute Resolution

Except for claims that qualify for small claims court or where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its applicable rules. Arbitration will take place in Louisville, Kentucky, unless the parties agree otherwise. Either party may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to help@justpilotjobs.com.

The parties agree to waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding. Each dispute must be brought in the parties’ individual capacities, and relief may be awarded only to the individual party seeking relief.

Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Just Pilot Jobs regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject. We may assign these Terms without restriction; you may not assign them without our prior written consent. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of such right or provision. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, indemnity, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and payment obligations, will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are effective constitutes acceptance of the changes.
