Saratoga Homes Corporate Pilot
*JOB SUMMARY:*
The Pilot’s responsibilities include transporting passengers and cargo, determining the safest routes, analyzing flight plans and weather conditions, calculating fuel, and inspecting operation systems and navigation equipment. During all phases of flight and especially emergencies, you should react appropriately and keep the passenger’s calm.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
•Operate and pilot the Cessna Citation CJ1 business jet safely and efficiently.
•Perform thorough pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness.
•Plan and execute flight routes while assessing weather conditions and fuel requirements.
•Communicate effectively with air traffic control, dispatch, and ground personnel.
•Adhere to FAA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
•Monitor aircraft systems during flight and respond promptly to any abnormalities or emergencies.
•Provide excellent passenger service, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the flight.
•Complete all necessary flight documentation and maintenance reports accurately.
•Participate in recurrent training and maintain pilot certifications and ratings.
•Collaborate with maintenance teams to report and resolve mechanical issues.
•Maintain professionalism and discretion in all interactions and operations.
•All flight school and flight training to be paid by the Company.
•In addition to the base salary, bonuses will also be provided at the discretion of the Company.
•The total annual compensation for this role ranges from *$137,000 to $165,000*, which includes base salary, performance-based bonuses, and other eligible incentives.

•*SECONDARY DUTIES:*
•FAR Part 91
•Weekly: KDNA to KTME to KEDC to KILE or combination thereof
•Daily Cleaning and inspecting of Aircraft
•Updating IFR Databases monthly per cycle
•Filing of all IFR Flight plans and filling out required company paperwork
•COO has Go/No-Go Authority
•Average of 200 – 300 hours of flight time per year.
•Non flight days, pilot will report to Corporate office from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
•All preventative maintenance allowed including oil changes and cleaning the plane after every flight.
•Any tasks requested by the CEO and COO
•Manual oversight of any and all work executed to the aircraft
•Cleaning and maintaining hangars under lease
•Ferrying planes for maintenance
•Test Flying planes after maintenance
•Office duties for off flying days and during downtime and No-Fly days:
•Aircraft cost management and tracking.
•*EDUCATION, TRAINING, & CERTIFICATION*
•Minimum CFI training required.
•Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
•Pilot is to obtain CFII and ATP within the next 24 months.
•Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate preferred or required by some employers.
•Minimum flight hours (usually 1,500+ total flight hours, including multi-engine and jet experience).
•Proven experience operating light jets, preferably the Cessna Citation CJ1 or similar aircraft.
•Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety standards, and flight procedures.
•Proficiency in flight planning, weather analysis, and use of avionics systems.
•Ability to pass FAA medical certification (Class 1 or Class 2 medical).
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
•Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
•Flexibility for irregular schedules, including weekends and holidays.
•Ability to work collaboratively with crew members and ground personnel.
