Job description

*Pay Rates:*

\*DO NOT apply to this position unless you have knowledge and understanding of the G1000 Flight Deck at an instructional level. You will be tested on the G1000 during the interview process.

\*You must have endorsed at least 3 students for solo and 5 students for practical exams.

\*You must have at least 50 hours teaching in the G1000.

\*You must have at least 50 hours teaching in the SR20 and SR22T, each.

if you do not meet these requirements, but it is later to determine that you are a strong candidate you may be offered “new employee training course” (NETC). Upon successful completion of NETC. a full-time or part-time job offer.

\*You must be able to come to an in-person interview. If you are traveling here from out of town that will be at your cost. No phone or zoom interviews.

*PURPOSE OF POSITION* The Flight Instructor delivers exceptional ground and flight instruction in accordance with aviation regulations and Berichi Aviation Training principles.

*TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

Conduct pilot ground and flight training for clients receiving core, specialty or enrichment training courses.
Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification, or additional training.
Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of aviation safety standards and practices
Knowledge of common aviation regulations
Ability to manage classes and teach effectively
First-level facilitation skills
First-level customer service skills
Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development

*Job Description *

Berichi Aviation is currently accepting applications for full-time and part-time Flight Instructors.

Flight Instructors provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with Berichi Aviation and FAA regulations and procedures. They prepare schedules, maintain records, and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student in each flight course.

*Qualifications *

FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Airplane Single engine land, Instrument Airplane. Aircraft piloting skills including familiarity with and ability to perform required flight maneuvers and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to apply effective instructional technique in the classroom and in flight. Knowledge and understanding of the G1000 Flight Deck at an instructional level is required. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced and noisy environment while exercising sound judgment at all times. Must hold a current FAA Medical Certificate.' ' Work Remotely
